Compilers

• TLV-Comp: A fork of Intel's open source release with updates to support TL-Verilog 1a, is available here.

• SandPiper: Redwood EDA, LLC's SandPiper™ tool generates SystemVerilog code from TL-Verilog. A free version is available for download.

 

Editor Modes

• Vim: A Vim mode is provided as open source by Peter Odding.  Hosted on GitHub, and available at vim.org.

• Emacs/XEmacs: An open source TL-Verilog editor mode from Redwood EDA, LLC is hosted on GitLab.

• Visual Studio Code: A TL-Verilog editor mode from Dmytro Bogatov is available here.

• Atom: A TL-Verilog editor mode from Dmytro Bogatov is available here.

• CodeMirror: An open source CodeMirror mode is available, contributed by Ray Ratchup, and incorporated into the CM GitHub repository by Marijn Haverbeke.

 

IDEs

• Makerchip: Makerchip is a very exciting, custom, online IDE for TL-Verilog development with TL-Verilog tutorials.  It is powerful, free, and only a click away!

• EDA Playground: EDA Playground is a free light-weight web-based IDE for hardware models and testbenches from Doulos. It provides compilation, simulation, and debug using various industry tools. It has its own waveform viewer as well as logic synthesis for FPGAs and includes support for TL-Verilog.
